"I'm entitled to my opinion"...?

“Exposed”, “debunked”, “cancelled”... words that nowadays seem to be omnipresent. There is a palpable rise in shaming and blaming people and feeling entitled to unsolicitedly impose your opinion and your views on how life should be lived on others. More often than not accompanied by a reluctant predisposition, denying any attempt to listen and to understand. The notion of being entitled to your own opinion has increasingly developed into setting an alarming equation between opinion and fact.
Shaming, blaming, exposing and ostracising are essentially no new behaviours among humans, but they are exponentially blown out of proportion through social media and headline based tabloid culture. But well, that’s just my opinion.
